The approach of KONSTANTIMPROVEMENT is to acknowledge that learning is an ongoing process in our lives and therefore taking the responsibility & action in order to work on ourselves. By doing so we are improving our skills as human beings, which not only benefit oneself, but also the people around us. There will be moments in life when one can make a choice that was practiced before, a choice that reflects the highest aspirations and core values of an individual.

KONSTANTIMPROVEMENT provides a broad range of different tools through the teachings of ancient HATHA YOGA as well as the facilitation of profound knowledge in the field of NON-VIOLENT COMMUNICATION.

This combination overall supports to instill in practitioners a deep awareness of the physical, mental, emotional, intellectual and spiritual essence of life.

THE STRUCTURE OF THE CLASS INCLUDES

 

Individual corrections and detailed instructions help every participant to do the exercises relaxed and accurate to develop flexibility. Beginners will be introduced to the several postures with care and by adjusted light variations. Intermediate practitioners are instructed by different classical variations and to hold the postures longer.

GUIDELINES

We want you to have the most comfortable and pleasant experience possible. 
Here are some guidelines to follow for our classes.

ATTENDANCE

Arrive 5 to 10 minutes before the class starts. Please do not enter a class more than 5 minutes after it has begun.

HEALTH STATUS

Please let us know, before the class, if you have any injuries, serious health conditions, recent surgeries, high blood pressure, pregnancy, etc.

EMPTY STOMACH

Do not eat for at least two hours before a class.

NO FOOD OR DRINK

 

Please do not bring any food or drink into the class.

Konstantimprovement also offers One on One private Hatha Yoga classes for more individual guidance and according to your specific needs.

The individual person, not mastering a certain exercise or technique, is at the center of attention. The Yoga exercise must be adapted to the particular person, not the other way around.
A self-sufficent practice makes you independent of course visits.

 

We will come to any location from Samana to Santo Domingo.

With NVC we learn to hear our own deeper needs and those of others. Through its emphasis on deep listening—to ourselves as well as others—NVC helps us discover the depth of our own compassion. This language reveals the awareness that all human beings are only trying to honor universal values and needs, every minute, every day.

NVC can be seen as both a spiritual practice that helps us see our common humanity, using our power in a way that honors everyone's needs, and a concrete set of skills which help us create life-serving families and communities.

Through the practice of NVC, we can learn to clarify what we are observing, what emotions we are feeling, what values we want to live by, and what we want to ask of ourselves and others. We will no longer need to use the language of blame, judgment or domination. We can experience the deep pleasure of contributing to each others' well being.

NVC creates a path for healing and reconciliation in its many applications, ranging from intimate relationships,

work settings, social services, schools and social change organizations. Our clients come from all walks of life. 

 

Workshops are offered on regular bases in different locations in Las Terrenas, Santo Domingo, Santiago and Cabarete as well as remote online.

The form is simple, yet powerfully transformative.

Born in Munich, Konstantin is a certified yoga instructor in the Sivananda Yoga Vedanta tradition and registered as an RYT-200 Yoga Instructor through the

Yoga Alliance. (the national education and support organization for Yoga in the United States).

He worked as a full-time employee from the year 2007 until 2010 for the "International Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Centers" in India, Canada, Germany and Austria. Instructing over hundreds of trainees in the various yoga teacher training courses from all over the world.

Practicing Yoga for many years, he experienced the roots of Indian Yoga and Ayurveda culture throughout many Indian regions.

In 2011 Konstantin founded Mira Yoga Cabarete and has since been offering group and private classes for people from all walks of life. 

Konstantin completed the NVC International Intensive Training in Liguria, Italy during the summer of 2017 as well as the Parent Peer Leadership Program in 2018, which is aimed at nurturing and developing leaders who are committed to spreading Non-Violent Communication (NVC) to parents, teachers and youth-serving professionals in their communities. Since then he has hosted a great number of workshops in the various communities of the Dominican Republic and collaborated with plenty educational organizations in the country such as The Dream Project, 3 Mariposas Montessori, ISLA Academy.
