KONSTANTIMPROVEMENT provides a broad range of different tools & techniques through the teachings of ancient HATHA YOGA as well as the facilitation in the field of NONVIOLENT COMMUNICATION.

This combination overall supports to instill a deep awareness on the various aspects of life, including its challenges and changes. This enables to navigate, overcome and to evolve as a person and human being. 

Learning is an ongoing process throughout life and it takes responsibility & action in order to work on ourselves. By doing so we step into our full potential, which not only benefits oneself, but also the people around us. The personal choices in life become a creative manifestation in tune with the highest aspirations and core values.

HATHA YOGA

 

Individual corrections and detailed instructions help every participant to do the exercises relaxed and accurate to develop flexibility. Beginners will be introduced to the several postures with care and by adjusted light variations. Intermediate practitioners are instructed by different classical variations and to hold the postures longer.

GUIDELINES

We want you to have the most comfortable and pleasant experience possible. 
Here are some guidelines to follow for our classes.

ATTENDANCE

Arrive 5 to 10 minutes before the class starts. Please do not enter a class more than 5 minutes after it has begun.

HEALTH STATUS

Please let us know, before the class, if you have any injuries, serious health conditions, recent surgeries, high blood pressure, pregnancy, etc.

EMPTY STOMACH

Do not eat for at least two hours before a class.

NO FOOD OR DRINK

 

Please do not bring any food or drink into the class.

Enjoy the benefits of Yoga at your location.

 

Konstantimprovement also offers One on One private Hatha Yoga classes for more individual guidance and according to your specific needs.

The individual person, not mastering a certain exercise or technique, is at the center of attention. The Yoga exercise must be adapted to the particular person, not the other way around.
A self-sufficent practice makes you independent of course visits.

 

We will come to any location from Samana to Santo Domingo.

Nonviolent Communication enables us to discover what is alive in ourselves and others. Through its emphasis on active listening, NVC helps us to stay connected during times of conflict and disagreement. This language reveals the awareness that all human beings are trying to meet universal needs at all times.

NVC is an effective instrument, which supports us to see our common humanity, using our power in a way that acknowledges everyone's needs involved. It provides a concrete set of skills, which allows us to create life-serving families and communities.

Through the practice of NVC, we learn to clarify what we are observing, what emotions we are feeling, what values we want to live by. Furthermore what we request from ourselves and others. We take full ownership and responsibility, without using the language of blame, shame, judgment or domination. We can experience the deep pleasure of contributing to each others' well being.

It creates a path for healing and reconciliation in its many applications, ranging from intimate relationships,

work settings, social services, schools and social change organizations. Our clients come from all walks of life. 

 

Workshops are offered on regular bases in different locations in Las Terrenas, Santo Domingo, Santiago and Cabarete as well as remote online.

The form is simple, yet powerfully transformative.

Born in Munich, Konstantin is a certified yoga instructor in the Sivananda Yoga Vedanta tradition and registered as an RYT-200 Yoga Instructor through the

Yoga Alliance. (the national education and support organization for Yoga in the United States).

He worked as a full-time employee from the year 2007 until 2010 for the "International Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Centers" in India, Canada, Germany and Austria. Instructing over hundreds of participants in the various yoga teacher training courses from all over the world.

Practicing Yoga for many years, he experienced the roots of Indian Yoga and Ayurveda culture throughout many Indian regions.

In 2011 Konstantin founded Mira Yoga Cabarete, which he has recently rebranded into KONSTANTIMPROVEMENT,offering group and private classes for people from all walks of life. 

Konstantin completed the NVC International Intensive Training in Liguria, Italy during the summer of 2017 as well as the Parent Peer Leadership Program in 2018, which is aimed at nurturing and developing leaders who are committed to spreading Nonviolent Communication (NVC) to parents, teachers and youth-serving professionals in their communities. Since then he has hosted a great number of workshops in the various communities of the Dominican Republic and collaborated with plenty educational organizations in the country such as The Dream Project, 3 Mariposas Montessori, ISLA Academy.
